Villa Schmalzl – Sunny and quiet with wonderful panoramic views

Our house is set in a strategic location, ideal as a starting point for numerous hikes in nature in summer, as well as ski trips in the wonderful winter landscape.

The family-run Villa Schmalzl is located in the upper part of the village of Ortisei and often impresses guests with its idyllic, sun-soaked hillside location with wonderful views of the majestic Sassolungo; Val Gardena's emblem. Explore numerous hiking trails in summer or a multifaceted slope paradise in winter.
Our house is not only perfect for those looking for peace and quiet on a holiday close to nature. The picturesque town centre of Ortisei with its unique pedestrian area invites you to take a leisurely stroll, where various bars and restaurants welcome you with local delicacies to ensure that your holiday is also a culinary experience.

Arrival at Villa Schmalzl

Coming from either the north or south, take the Brennero motorway and get off at the exit marked Chiusa. From there, a panorama road will lead you right into the valley. Follow the yellow signs since the Residence Gran Tubla, than turn left and after 300m you are on our house.

If you arrive by bus, train or plane we will come to pick you up at the bus station in Ortisei and we will take you there on the day of you departure.
